Random title? Check. Boredom? Check. Yup, time for a journal update.

S'been a while since I updated, as usual. Anyway, thanks to my friend Claire over on shi- I mean sheezyart for helping me with the shading on my latest deviation. It helped a lot.

I've started on a new writing project, which is still untitled, with the help of another one of my good friends, Kyle. More info on that later.

Anyway, High School's started. Fun? Not really. Crappy? Not quite. Just sort of...meh. Though it'd be a lot closer to the fun side if my ex-gf(the one who cheated on me with my best friend and has become a total bitch since then >_> weren't in two of my classes(Physics and Literature/Composition). Ah, well, I have to live with it.

I do have two new favorite short stories, though. The first being "Harrison Bergeron" by Kurt Vonnegut, the second being "The Cask of Amontillado" by Edgar Allen Poe. I recommend both. For "The Cask of Amontillado", I had to write a prologue as an assignment in my Lit/Comp class. It's my featured deviation for a moment, so go and comment on it.

I got hooked up with free sketchbooks from a friend at school, which is just plain awesome.I'll get some pics of drawings that I've been doing in my free time up soon. I really need a scanner. >>;

Well a storm knocked out the power for pretty much the entire city of St. Louis; which just so happens to be where I live. So, I'm staying with my grandma in Illinois.....with a dialup connection and no Photoshop. Whoo. >_<

So, it didn't end as badly as it could have. Cathy and I are going to see how things go after we talk and catch up for a bit. Yay, I guess. We'll see.

On another note, Link82389 and I are teaming up to make a comic. Whoo. I'm writing, she's drawing in case you're wondering xD

Anyway, as I sit here and wait for Mookie([link]) to update before I get my two hours of daily required sleep, I figured that I might as well do something that's productive.

Hahah, productive. Yeah. Right. I could be getting to work on that mural in my room, but Nuuuu, I've decided ot sit here and make a journal entry.

I finally got my computer up and running again (obviously). After a month without it, it's good to be back. Yeah. Out of things to write about now. Maybe I'll go write a story or something...yeah that sounds good...
